Drop Off Donations at the times and locations listed with each Organization 

In addition to the volunteer activities, we are collecting food and personal care items for underserved populations in Lexington and the surrounding areas. Please consider bringing food and personal care items to donate when you come to volunteer. Or, if you are unable to volunteer, we will gladly accept your donations as your service!  Thank you!

​The Lexington Food Pantry  
requests personal care items, 
such as shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, health and beauty aids; paper products such as toilet paper, facial tissues, and paper towels; 15 oz cans of fruit, 20 oz cans of pineapple, 15 oz cans of chicken broth (although these products come in other sizes, please donate only the specified sizes). EXPIRED food will not be accepted, please double check expiration dates before donating​.

Birthday Wishes
collects NEW toys for children and youth aged 1-17.  For this MLK Day, Birthday Wishes has asked us to focus on:
  • Board games for all ages
  • Reading books for all ages
  • Coloring books (with crayons/colored pencils) for all ages
  • Disposable tablecloths (birthday themed, solid color, or popular boy/girl themes)
  • Scotch tape

​More than Words is a nonprofit social enterprise that empowers youth who are in the foster care system, court involved, homeless, or out of school to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business.They accept (gently-used or better) books, CDs, DVDs, and video games.  Click here for more specific donation details. Learn more about More than Words.

MA Coalition for the Homeless 
aims to eradicate homelessness from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through advocacy, public education, and policy. Donations of new or nearly new warm, bed-sized blankets.

Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth to age 12, living in low-income and homeless situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. This year they request donations of new or like-new clothing, especially:
  • Winter coats (boys and girls, newborn-child size 18/20 or adult medium)
  • Boys and girls clothing that can be layered for the cold weather
  • Shoes (youth sizes 0-7/8)
  • and, well-preserved used toys**

Youth on Fire is a drop-in shelter for homeless LGBTQ+ youth. It provides hot meals and a variety of support services to help youth with health, housing, education, and work. We request donations of winter gear and clothing, Charlie Cards (to help youth get to services), gift cards, and fresh produce.
