Our At Home MLK Day Card-Making Drive starts now! Please join us to make seasonal greeting cards to Veterans at the Bedford VA, active military personnel, and healthcare workers at Lawrence Community Health Centers.

  2. Decorate the front of your card. Be creative: try collaging, printing out images, and using stamps to take your cards to the next level! You can find examples of completed cards below.
  3. Write a theme-appropriate note inside the card. They don’t need to say the same thing, but try to keep all messages close to your selected theme (e.g., Thank You for Your Service or Valentine’s Greetings). Suggestions can be found below.
  4. Sign your first name only inside the card.
  5. If using adhesives or wet media, let dry fully before returning your card to the bag with the others.
Remember:
  • Be respectful with your words and imagery.
  • No mention of God or religious messages.
  • Please do not use glitter or 3-dimensional decorations.
  • Allow adhesives or wet media to fully dry before folding and returning to the bag.
